Dr. the Hon. Ewart F. Brown, JP, MP, Premier of Bermuda at the Cabinet Office this afternoon said, “The Government and People of Bermuda Proudly Salute you the Lady Rams and the Devonshire Cougars the 2010 Women’s & Men’s FA Cup Champions.
Premier Brown said to the Devonshire Cougars President Craig Clarke, player/coach Kwame Steede and the team members gathered, “Your accomplishment of coming from 2 goals down is a testament to life - It is not how far you fall behind, but it how you comeback that shows the character in which you all displayed”.
“Scoring six goals to Win the Women’s FA Cup is an accomplishment in itself, I know with the little bit of football that I did play you have to be on top of your game to win the final so I congratulate you the Lady Rams”, Premier Brown concluded.
