During yesterday’s IAAF World Athletics Day Track Meet at the National Sports Center, another athlete qualify for the CAC Jnr. Championships.
Dage Minors has qualified for the Under 17 Boys 1500 with a time of 4:18.68. Thirteen Athletes have qualified for the CAC Jnr. Championships thus far.
Bermuda Track and Field Association President Donna Watson said, “We also had another great performance from 12 year old Kyrah Scraders in the 1500m breaking the tape in under 5:00 with a time of 4:54.79. The Bermuda Junior record in the 1500m is 4:45.90 so we have a great young runner coming up. Scraders will be competing in the CUT Junior Games as she is too young for this year's CAC Juniors.
