4th ISL Season Underway
Kings 9 Union 8 – Over Time

1st Period


Rui Furtado scored the 1st goal of the ISL 2010 Season, when he beat the Union goal keeper from close range to give the Kings the lead. Dennis Russell equalized for the Union with 3:25 remaining. With 2:07 remaining Lashun Dill gave the Union the lead when he beat Kings goal keeper Troy Hall with a right footed shot. With one minute remaining on the clock Furtado beat his marker and equalized for the Kings to make the score 2 – 2.

2nd Period

Russell gave the Union the lead again two minutes into the second period, with that as the only goal of the second period the Union lead 3 – 2 at half time.

3rd Period

Shaki Pearman made a run from his half of the field and scored for the Union to make it 4 – 2. Kijuan Franks pulled a goal back for the Kings with 11 minutes remaining to make the score 4 – 3. Shawn Brown scored from close range for the Union to make the score 5 – 3, two minutes later Ricky Saltus scored a screamer for the Union to make it 6 – 3. Aquino Grant scored from an angle for the Kings to make the score 6 – 4. Franks scored a low right footed drive with one minute to go, however with 10 seconds on the clock Brown scored for the Union to make it a two goal game going into the final period.

4th Period

Korvon Tucker pulled a goal back for the Kings with a low drive from the right. Grant equalized for the Kings from close range with seven minutes remaining. Good work from Russell saw him draw a defender and the goalkeeper and slip the ball to an unmarked Keimo Smith to score from close range giving the Union a 8 – 7 lead with two minutes to go, however with eight second remaining Shawn Tucker equalized for the Kings sending the game to sudden death overtime.

Sudden Death Overtime

With 34 second gone off the clock Furtado completed his hat-trick scoring from an angle to give the Kings the win.

Arsenal 6 Royal 2

1st Period


Arsenal took the lead with 10:45 gone off the clock, Fabien Frankson scored from close range beating Zane Hendrickson in goal for the Royals. Anthony Burchall equalized for the Royals with a left footed shot the flew pass Jason Smith in goal for Arsenal with two minutes remaining, however one minute later Cecoy Robinson restored the Arsenal lead.

2nd Period

With 3:45 remaining in the period Aaron Lugo headed the Royal level. Frankson scored a header for Arsenal with 5 seconds to go to give then a 3 – 2 lead at the half.

3rd Period

Arsenal doubled their lead with four minutes remaining, Daz Simons followed up a shot that was not held by Hendrickson to make the score 4 – 2.

4th Period

Lloyd Holder scored for Arsenal with eight minutes to go making the score 5 – 2, and 30 seconds later Frankson completed his hat-trick putting Arsenal up 6 – 2.
