Canadian batsmen Nitish Kumar has opted out of the ICC America's Division 1 Championship next week in Bermuda due to personal commitments.
Kumar will be replaced by hardhitting 18-year-old all-rounder Hiral Patel, who was a member of the Canada squad at the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup 2010. Canada's first match is against the Cayman Islands on May 28th.
