Yesterday was the first day of Try Outs in front of several scouts for Terence Dill in his bid to move to the next level in the sport of Basketball.
Basketball has been played for many years in this country and has been overlooked by other media for some time, with the achievements of players such as Sullivan Phillips, Jenaya Wade-Fray and Erica Woods of late they are now taking interest.
www.islandstats.com spoke to the man that has made it all possible Roosevelt Bouie Jr., who gave us a an update on how Dill Bouie said, “This being the first day it was very hard. Conditioning, lots of running and playing defense. Dill represented himself and Bermuda very well for 3 hours in the morning and 2.5 hours in the afternoon”
“There were many competitive learning situation on offense and defense that were played intensely. Today I will see who is in better shape and remembers what was taught the first day, everyone used a lot of ice and stretching and the end of practice”, continued Bouie.
Bouie concluded, “I think with what he has shown me thus far, Dill would be a valuable asset to any PBL or International league team”.
