Dominique Mayho IslandStats.com The Bermuda Bicycle Association have announced that Marquise Cann, Mark Godfrey, Dominique Mayho and Tre-shun Correia are off to Tennessee to compete in the Highland Rim Cycling Classic along with Geri Mewett.
The event is a 2 day, 3 stage race including road race, Hill Climb, Time Trial and Crit with the action starting on Saturday.
BBA President Peter Dunne said, “The competition will be tough but a great opportunity to test their legs against unknown competition and see what they have”.
The road race will be on Baker Mountain Road. 10-16 year olds will do laps on the 4.5 mile loop. All others (Cat. 3-4-5's, Women, Master and Jrs. 17-18) will do the Main Loop.
The Time Trial will run up the mountain! Riders get ready for another grueling climb!! The TT will be a 2.5 mile hill climb with a 8% Grade.
The Criterium is back downtown in the beautifully revitalized business district. Narrow turns, deadman’s curve, and stamped concrete make this a very technical course.
