Day 2 of the 43rd Annual Glenn D. Loucks Games in White Plains High School, White Plains, NY got underway with Mid-Island Striders Track Club members Tyra Stovell, Jubilee Edness and Shawnae Brangman all competed in the 200m Preliminaries.
Brangman and Edness competed in Heat 4, Brangman finished 3rd with a time of 26.42, while Edness finished 6th in a time of 28.92. Stovell finished fifth in Heat 8 with a time of 27.68 all three failed to make the final.

Evans & Darrell’s Georgia track and field teams combined to record 16 wins and numerous personal-best efforts at the Georgia Invitational during the final home meet of the year in Athens.
In the women's triple jump, freshman Maria Augutis reached 42 feet for the second straight meet to win her second meet of the season. Augutis had an effort of 42-0.50 on her second attempt to finish first, while Darrell finished third with a leap of 41-5.25 on her final attempt.
Junior Shaquita Young matched her career-best effort in the high jump after clearing 5-9.25 on her first attempt to have the top collegiate finish. She also had the top collegiate jump at the 2009 Georgia Invitational. Three other jumpers - Carin Walker, Saniel Atkinson and Darrell - all cleared 5-7.25 to take third-fourth-fifth, respectively.
Meanwhile Aaron Evans competed in the Boys 1500m, but he did not finish.
Jasmine Brunson
Brunson competing for Clemson won the Women’s Long Jump at the Orange & Purple Classic.
Brunson leap of 6.09 on her third attempt was enough for her to win.
