Manders & Bradenton Academics Win Opener
Whistle we wait for the Bermuda Football Association to announce both the Bermuda Hogges team and a venue for home games change for this season’s Premier Development League, www.islandstats.com can reveal that Taurean Mandersled the Bradenton Academy team into battle this evening in the same league as the Hogges, but a different Division.
The deadline for the Bermuda Hogges to submit their team to the USL is today (two weeks before their first game), however as we reported a few weeks ago that there was a venue clash at the National Sports Center between the Bermuda Hogges games and the ISL, as of today the venue posted under schedule on the Bermuda Hogges USL website still reports that their games will be held at the National Sports Center. Again we wait.
Mander played 90 minutes as Brian Fekete scored the lone goal for the Bradenton Academics to win 1 - 0.
