 Kathy Lloyd-Hines IslandStats.com Bermuda’s start at the 32nd Annual Kitty Michael International Invitational Tournament at the Longboat Key Club and Resort in Sarasota Florida got off to a good start, as they lead the Gross Standings and are 6th in the Net Division.
The Bermuda team are being led by team captain Ann Symonds also consist of Katrin Burnie, Tracy Nash, Katyna Rabain, Wendy Salvia, Patricia Morgan, Synda Perry, Kathy-Lloyd Hines, Paula Smith and Cindy Hardart.
Bermuda have a 8 stroke lead in the Gross Division for the Balandra Cup that they won last year, the first Day’s play was on the Islandside Course that is some 5198 yards.
In the Gross Division, Lloyd-Hines shot a 82, Burnie shot 89 and Symonds shot 90, while in the Net Division, Lloyd-Hines had a 73, Burine shot 82 and Salvia shot 77.
The Bermuda players day continued to shine when Symonds shot Closest to Pin at the #3, she was six feet, two & and Half inches from the pin, while Rabain was seven feet six inches from the pin on the number 14 hole.
Nash recorded the Longest Drive of the day, while Lloyd-Hines’ 82 won the Lowest Gross score of the day, while Fran Stock from Southwest Florida had the Low Net when she shot 68.
