Saturday May 1st will see the CellularOne Premier Basketball Championship that will feature number one seed Smith’s Wildcats, led by All-Star MVP Steven Simons, taking on the 2008 PBL Champions, St. George’s International inside the Cedarbridge Gymnasium.
Undefeated during the regular season, the Smith’s Wildcats will look to finish their epic season with a championship over league rivals.
“Although we had a magnificent regular season, our overall goal as a team was to win the league title. We realize that St. George’s International are big, quick and have a number of talented players, however, we are prepared to stick to our game plan that has been successful for us this season to capture this victory,” said 2009 League MVP Simons.
Fans will be able to see this exciting matchup at CedarBridge Gymnasium where the tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm. Entry is free.
