Scott Roy was today crowned the 2010 PGA of Bermuda Stroke Play Champion at the magnificent Tucker’s Point Club.
The 54 Hole Championship was played in some tough conditions over the three days that included high winds and driving rain.
Roy, told www.islandstats.com, “It was difficult out there today with the wind and rain, on some of the holes it was difficult to even just stand on the Tee Box, on a few holes it was purely hit and hope for the best”.
“Overall I am pleased that I was able to get the win, I was just hoping to continue my form, I knew coming in I was playing good golf and I just wanted that to continue”, concluded Roy.
Roy won by four strokes over Dwayne Pearman, with Brian Morris finishing third.
