Today saw high winds batter the field during the second round of the PGA of Bermuda Strokeplay at the Tuckers Point Golf Course. Scoring was made tricky by some tough pins and fast greens, requiring placement of drives and accurate approach shots.
Derriek Douglas looked as if he was heading for a course record after shooting 3 under for the first 9 holes, but then gale force winds and a few missed short putts on the back nine dropped him back to 3rd place.
Tournament favorite Scott Roy continues to lead the field after shooting a second round 4-over par 74, while second place Dwayne Pearman also shot a second round 4-over par 74.
The three will Tee Off for tomorrows round at 13:36pm, Roy will be looking to become the Inaugural PGA of Bermuda Strokeplay Champion.
