Sullivan Phillips and his APOEL teammates are the 2009/10 Cyprus National Basketball Champions, following their 83 – 73 win over AEL.
The title win was APOEL’s tenth title win. Phillips who was injured from the attack on the team bus, scored 4 points in the win.
APOEL led from start to finish holding a 25 – 13 lead at the end of the first quarter. APOEL were outscored 26 – 23 in the second half, but they still held a 48 – 39 lead at half time.
APOEL scored 20 points in the third quarter and held AEL to 14 and then in the final quarter APOEL were outscored 20 – 14 but still celebrated at the buzzer.
