Bermuda will be represented again at the 32nd Annual Kitty Michael International Invitational Tournament at the Longboat Key Club and Resort in Sarasota Florida.
The Bermuda team will be led by team captain Ann Symonds also consist of Katrin Burnie, Tracy Nash, Katyna Rabain, Wendy Salvia, Patricia Morgan, Synda Perry, Kathy-Lloyd Hines, Paula Smith and Cindy Hardart.
Bermuda finished 1st in the Gross Division winning the Balandra Cup and Symonds and her team are looking go one better and win the Net Division.

Q. What is the Kitty Michael’s Tournament?
A. The Kitty Michael’s Golf Tournament was created in 1979, by a lady golfer named Kitty Michael, with a vision to promote comradeship and to forge friendships in the golfing fraternity.
Q. How many times has Bermuda entered a team?
A. Bermuda has entered a team every year since the Kitty Michael’s Invitational Tournament began in 1979.
Q. How does the team get selected?
A. Bermuda team is selected from a series of trial games in which ten (10) players are selected. Five (5) players for Gross and five (5) players for Net.
Q. As team captain what is your goal for this tournament?
A. As team captain, my goal for this tournament is to win the Net Division.
Q. Golf in Bermuda is a big Sport as the Men get all the coverage, how do the Women make out?
A. Bermuda has a lot of women golfers but when it comes to competition, the participation is below average. Golf in Bermuda for women is struggling for participants to entry in tournaments.
Bermuda Amateur Seniors Stroke Play Championship
The Bermuda Amateur Seniors Stroke Play Championship will be held at the wonderful Riddell’s Bay Golf Club getting underway May 11th to May 13th, 2010. Men 55 years and up, ladies 50 years and up are all eligible to enter and play. Men 65 years and up and ladies 60 years and up are eligible for the Masters Division. Last years Champions, Max Atherden and Kathy Lloyd-Hines are returning to defend their titles. Atherden is looking for his third straight win while Lloyd-Hines is looking for her fourth title.
PGA of Bermuda Championships
The PGA of Bermuda will be holding their Championship next week; Monday April 26th, 27th and 28th at the Tuckers Point Club. Tee times starting at 12:00pm each day. Scott Roy, Paul Adams, Dwayne Pearman, Twilton Smith and Brian Morris are among some of the participants looking to capture the title.
