The Jack Daniels Series #2 golf tournament took place in wet conditions at Tuckers Point which did not make the scoring easy. However, Scott Roy put together an almost flawless round shooting 2 under 68 to take the title and make him the favorite for the Professional Golfers' of Bermuda stoke play championship next week.
Roy's round consisted of Birdies on the second, seventh, fourteenth and seventeenth holes with the only bogeys coming on the thirteenth and eighteenth holes.
Dwayne Pearman made a run at Roy even after starting with a Double Bogey on the 1st hole. Pearman bounced back with Birdies on the second, third, fifth and seventh holes to get back to 2 under par but Bogeys on the thirteenth and sixteenth holes left Pearman with an even par 70, with Roy winning by 2 strokes. Third was Brian Morris who shot a 4-over par 74 round, Morris did not hit a Birdie in his round.
This Sunday will be the Bridgestone ProAm followed by the Stoke Play Championship for Professional starting Monday through Wednesday.
