Sullivan Phillips and his Madisons APOEL teammates have taken the lead in the Cyprus National Basketball Play-Off Final after defeating AEL 70 -66.
Phillips scored 5 points and grabbed three rebounds in the win that saw APOEL lead at the half 33 – 32. AEL made a third quarter run scoring 23 points and holding APOEL to 17 to lead 55 – 50 going into the final period. In the final frame APOEL scored 20 points and then held AEL to just 11 for the win and the series lead.
