Shianne Smith competed in the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Invitational for her school Cal State. Smith finished 3rd overall in the Heptathlon with 4745 points, she placed 2nd in the 800m 2:23.08, 9th Javelin 28.41m, 2nd Long Jump 5.52m, 4th High Jump 1.56m, 11th Shot Put 9.69m, 3rd 200m 25.49 and 10th 100m Hurdles 15.55.
