The 2010 CellularOne Premier Basketball League (PBL) season continued this evening with a triple header at the Cedarbridge Academy Gymnasium.
Southampton Titans 58 Hamilton Tsunamis 56
In the first game of the evening the Southampton Titans edged the Hamilton Tsunamis 58 – 56. Husan Simons led the Titans with 18 points, while Markez Laws chipped in with 17 points, Graham Robinson scored 19 points to lead the Tsunamis, while Greg Todd scored 15 points..
St. George's Internationals 90 Paget Bearcats 50
The St. George's Internationals who scored a new PBL game high in points when they defeated the Warwick Rim Rockers 94 – 54, scored 90 points tonight in their win over the Paget Bearcats. St George's were led in the scoring department by Chajuan Knight who scored 29 points and Jonathan Lugo chipped in with 20 points, while Darren Smith scored 21 points for the Paget Bearcats and Chris Crumpler added 14 points.
Pembroke Cane Toads 61 Somerset Flyers 34
The Pembroke Cane Toads defeated the Somerset Flyers 61 – 39 in the final game of the night. Dave Middleton scored 13 points to lead Pembroke Cane Toads to victory, while Jonathan Lowe scored 12 points for the Somerset Flyers.
