Aaron Evans and LaTroya Darrell competed with their Georgia University Track and Field teammates that combined to win seven events and post a host of personal-best efforts at the Spec Towns National Team Invitational.
Aaron Evans has once again re-wrote the Junior National Records when he finished the Men’s 1500m INVITATIONAL in third place behind Michael Rutt and Brian Gagnon. Evans crossed the line in a time of 3:51.24, eclipsing the previous record of 3:54.08 set by Terrance Armstrong in 1990.
Evans helped the Georgia team running in the Men’s 4x400 Meter Relay INVITATIONAL finish 3rd with a time of 3:12.55.
Competing in the Women’s High Jump Open, Darrell finished 5th with a leap of 1.66m.
