The 2010 Carifta Games concluded yesterday in the Cayman Islands, with Bermuda picking up a total of 11 Medals.
The Bermuda Team will return home this evening with a Medal count that saw them finish with the fifth most for the games behind Jamaica who won 72 Medals, Trinidad who picked up 40, Bahamas won 29 Medals and Grenada won 18 Medals.
Jeneko Place won Two Silver Medals and has also qualified for the World Youth Championships, while eight others picked up Medals. Bermuda’s biggest Medal day was the final day when they won Two Silver and Three Bronze Medals.
There was also four Personal Best set at the Games, with Place running Personal Best’s in th100m & 200m U17 Boys, Juma Mouchette ran a Personal Best in the 1500 U17 Boys and Taylor Ashley Bean ran a Personal Best in the 3000m Girls Open.
