Day 2 of the 39th Carifta Games Championship got underway at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex in George Town, Grand Cayman Island, B.W. I.
Alison Outerbridge won the Bronze Medal in the Women Triple Jump Under 20 with a leap of 12.10m, Outerbridge’s Bronze Medal leap came on her fourth attempt. Taylor-Ashley Bean has won a Bronze Medal during the Women 3000 Meter Run Open Final finishing in a time of 10:47.84, with Ashley Berry finishing fourth in 10:55.29.
A day after Bermuda picked up three medals, the chance to win more is on the cards as Shaquille Dill and Henry Stevens-Carty have both qualified for the Men 800 Meter Run Under 20 Final, with Dill winning Heat 1 in a time of 1:54.47 the fastest qualifying time and Stevens-Carty recording the third fastest time of 1:56.52 finishing second in Heat 2.
Jeneko Place ran the second fastest qualifying time in the Boys 200 Meter Dash Under 17 after winning Heat 3 in a time of 21.48.
Juma Mouchette finished the Men 3000 Meter Run Under 17 race in 4th in a time of 9:26.92, while Kameron Creighton finished 6th in a time of 9:31.53.
