On Saturday at the Kappa Alpha PSI Bermuda Alumni Chapter’s Pee-Wee Soccer Extravaganza that took place at the National Sports Center, a group led by Terry Lynn Cann from Kingdom Connections spent time encouraging the youngsters and their parents to stay on the positive side.
The group walked around showing one of their displays called “The Mission Ball’, the ball is covered with spiritual words of wisdom and gives all the chance to not only play with but to also read.
One of the Scriptures on the ball reads:
“You need to be saved. "I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God". (John 3:3) All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God's path to follow our own. (Isaiah 53:6) But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve. (Jeremiah 17:10) You will perish unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. (Luke 13:3) You cannot save yourself. God saved us, not because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new life through the Holy Spirit. (Titus 3:5) There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death. (Proverbs 14:12) Jesus told him, "I am the way the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me". (John 14:6) No one can be made right with God by doing what the law commands. It simply shows us we are sinful. (Romans 3:20) God has provided for your salvation. Jesus carried our sins to the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds we are healed. (1 Peter 2:24) Christ died for sins. Jesus was buried, and was raised from the dead on the third day. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. (Ephesians 2:8-9)”
