The Kappa Alpha PSI Bermuda Alumni Chapter’s Pee-Wee Soccer Extravaganza took place at the National Sports Center, with matches in Girls Under 12 Division, Boy’s Under 8, Under 10 and Under 12.
The Somerset Trojans had a clean sweep in all of the Girls Divisions, winning the Under 10 Division with a 8 – 0 victory over the PHC Zebras. The Somerset Trojans Blacks won the Girls Under 12 Division when they defeated the Dandy Town Hornets 6 – 0 and then the Somerset Trojans won the Under 14 Division when they defeated the PHC Zebras 1 – 0.
In the Boy’s Under 8 Semi-Finals, the Somerset Trojans Reds defeated the Devonshire Cougars Green 2 – 1 to advance to the final where they took on Hamilton Parish who had defeated St. George’s Colts Dark 3 – 2. In the Final the Somerset Trojans Reds defeated Hamilton Parish 4 – 1.
The Boy’s Under 10 title was won by the Somerset Trojans Reds who defeated Hamilton Parish 10 – 9 on penalty kicks, the teams were locked at 1 – 1 at full time. In Semi-Final action Hamilton Parish defeated the Dandy Town Hornets 2 – 1 and the Somerset Trojans Reds defeated the North Village Rams 2 - 0.
The Under 12 Final saw the North Village Rams Reds defeat the Devonshire Cougars Green 2 – 1 to lift the title. The two teams advanced to the finals when the North Village Rams Reds defeat the Devonshire Cougars Yellow 1 – 0 and he Devonshire Cougars Green defeated United FC 2 – 1.
