St. David’s 5 Somerset Trojans 2
In the first game of this Premier Development League at the BFA Field, saw St. David’s defeated the Somerset Trojans 5 - 2. Irving Vanputten gave St. David’s the lead in the 30th minute, George O’Brien Jr. doubled the St. David’s lead ten minutes later. Tahj Wade pulled a goal back for the Somerset Trojans, before Leo Burgess equalized minutes before the break. OJ Minors made it 3 – 2 in the 67th minute to give St. David’s the lead, Minors added his goal of the game to make the score 4 – 2 and Landro Minors closed out the scoring for St. David’s to make the final score 5 – 2.
Dandy Town Hornets 5 Boulevard Blazers 2
In the nightcap, the Dandy Town Hornets defeated the Boulevard Blazers 5 – 2. The Blazers took the lead in the 11th minute when Angelo Simmons scored, however Nahki Wells equalized for theDandy Town Hornets. Anthony Bailey gave the Hornets the lead in the 31st minute, four minutes later Nico Wells got in on the scoring act making it 3 – 1 in the 35th minute. Nahki Wells made it 4 – 1 in the 44th minute, before Quadir Maynard pulled a goal back for St. David’s and Rico Fulbedelt closed out the scoring for the Dandy Town Hornets.
