As only www.islandstats.com has reported over 50 Bermuda Bicycle Association riders participated in the Harrington Sound time trial last Sunday and three new course records were set. Garth Thomson set the overall course record and 40+ record with a sizzling 33:44.420, while Molly Pilgrim erased the prior top time for Female 13-14 with an impressive 48:32.232.
Racing moves to Southside on Sunday with race directors Wayne Scott, Nicole Mitchell and Scott Mello ready to welcome the riders.
The event starts at 8:30am in the parking lot by Clearwater Beach with the race distances for the Male & Female A Division riders completing 8 laps = 32 miles, the Male & Female B and the Junior A Division riders will complete 6 laps = 24 miles. The Junior B Division riders will complete 2 laps = 8 miles and the Junior C Division riders will complete 1 lap = 4 miles.
