The Renegades Ladies defeated the Police Ladies 4 – 1 to be crowned the Scully Cup Champions. The Renegdaes Ladies got Try’s from Amy Harvey, Laura Haynes, Vanessa Turner and Jess Gilbert the Police Ladies lone Try came after the referee ruled a Try for Off –Side.
Picture – Action from the National Sports Center In the Nicol Shield Final the Mariners came from behind to defeat the Teachers 20 – 12. The Teachers took the lead in only the second minute of play when Harry Andrews went over for the Try, however the Mariners rebounded to get Try’s from Rich Holdin and Gary Brady, Holdin also kicked a drop goal and Mark Pomeroy kicked two Conversions and a Penalty. David McHugh scored the other Try for the Teachers who also had Shauntino Simmons kick a Conversion.
