Jenaya Wade-Fray and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's basketball team learned its NCAA Tournament fate this evening. Chattanooga received a No. 13 seed and will take on fourth-seeded Oklahoma State in the Sacramento Region.
Gathered with friends, fans and supporters, Wade-Fray and her teammates watched the NCAA Tournament Selection Show on ESPN at Big River Grille in downtown Chattanooga. Chattanooga will head to Tempe, Ariz., for the first round match-up against Oklahoma State. Game time is set for 8:11 p.m. (E.D.T.) on Saturday, March 20, on ESPN2.
This will be the first matchup between Chattanooga and Oklahoma State. Oklahoma State received an at-large bid out of the Big 12 Conference.
