Sullivan Phillips scored two points, grabbed three rebounds and had two assist as Madisons APOEL took a 1 – 0 lead in the Cyprus National Basketball League Play-offs.
APOEL defeated BMC AEK 119 – 53, and are favorites of advancing to the semifinals.
APOEL outscored their opponents 32 – 14 in the first quarter, APOEL then scored 33 points in the second quarter and held their opponents to 24 points.
APOEL scored another 33 points in the third quarter and restricted their opponents to 8 points to lead 88 – 46. AEK could only manage seven points in the final quarter, while APOEL scored 31 points to win 119 - 53.
