The Bermuda Bicycle Association has announced that they will be testing the Bermuda Timing electronic timing system at this weekend’s Crit at Southside.
Racing Committee co-leader Martin Bolton said, “In this weeks opening Crit we will be testing the new Bermuda Timing electronic timing system.
The 2010 road race season kicks off this Sunday with a crit on the “Fort Knox” circuit at Southside. Despite having to relocate from Hamilton, this race is also the first race of the IBC Hamilton Crit Series & Championship.
Racing starts at 8:30 AM – note that this is different from the advertised time for Hamilton crits – and races will be held in the following order (all start times are approximate):
8:00AM Male & Female A 40 minutes + 1 lap
8:50AM Junior B (15 mins + 1 lap) & Junior C (10 mins + 1 lap)
9:15AM Male B, Female B, Junior A 25 mins + 1 lap
