In the first Ladies Semi-Final, the Police Ladies defeated the Teachers Ladies 9 – 1, Saphia Tonkins scored 3 Try’s to lead the Police, who also got 2 Try’s from Mika Tomita and single Try’s from Lauren Wilson, Tammy Hall, Julia Mansfield and Kerry Heigham. Kristin RicardsTeachers.
In the other ladies Semi-Final, the Renegades defeated the Mariners 4 – 0, Melissa Fields scored 2 Try’s, while Amy Harvey and Laura Haynes scored the other two.
In the Men’s Semi-Final, Greg Fraser scored all the points for the Teachers as they defeated Police 18 – 0. Fraser scored 2 Try’s , kicked 2 Penalties and 1 Conversion.
In the other Men’s Semi-Final, Rich Brown and Steve Husbands scored 2 Try’s each for the MarinersRenegades 29 – 17. Also get on the scoresheet for the Marines were Bongani Ndlovu who scored a Try and Rich Holden kicked 2 Conversions. Greg Garside, Muhammad Dao and Danny McMillan scored a Try each for the Renegades who also got a Conversion from Dean Henderson.
