The 2010 NACRA Men's Sevens is all set to take place in Georgetown, Guyana, July 29th and 30th 2010. The winner of the tournament will not only be crowned the regional Caribbean Championship but also secure their place in the 2011 PANAM Games alongside fellow NACRA Members Canada and the USA and host Union Mexico.
Bahamas will be looking to continue their impressive development in the shortened game, which saw them collect the Plate trophy in Mexico City in November 2009, while the Cayman Islands will be looking to make it through to the semi-finals and beyond for the first time at a NACRA Sevens tournament.
In the same event in 2009, in Mexico City, Guyana narrowly defeated neighbors Trinidad & Tobago 12-10 in the final, to retain their Caribbean sevens trophy, while in the Shield final host Mexico defeated Bermuda 14-12 to claim the all important 5th qualification place for the CACSO Games 2010.
