In the first Women’s Division match of the day at the National Sports Center saw the Mariners and Renegades play to a 0 – 0 draw, the point ensured the Renegades the Women’s Division League Title for the third year in a row. In the day’s other match Police got Try’s from Sathia Tonkin, Kathi Brown and Tammy Hall as they defeated the Teachers 3 – 0.
Men’s Division
In Men’s action the Renegades defeated the Mariners 12 – 5. Greg Garside and Tom Healy scored Try’s for Renegades, while Darragh O’Donoghue kicked a Conversion. Soniko Thomas scored the lone Try for the Mariners. In the second game Teachers defeated Police 26 – 15 to win the Men’s Title for the second year in a row. Shauntino Simons scored 2 Try’s to lead the Teachers who also got a Try from Andrew Malef, Greg Fraser kicked 3 Penalties and a Conversion, whil Police got 2 Try’s from David Pringle, who also kicked a Conversion, while Tom Edwards added a Penalty.
