The Bermuda Squash Racquets Association is proud to announce that Digicel 3G+ Speed: Redefined are title sponsors for the 2010 Bermuda National Squash Championships.
The Championships will be held at the BSRA Facility in Devonshire from February 13-20th and is expecting a record entry for 2010. In the Men’s Open Category four time winner Patrick Foster has confirmed his entry but will face tough competition from past champion and former World #63 Nick Kyme. Also in the hunt for the title will be CourtHouse Pro and top English player Colin Whitney, top Bermuda junior Micah Franklin, experienced international players such as Mel Caines, Stephen Smith, Chase Toogood, Thomas Sherratt and Chris Dawson.
The Ladies Championships should produce the hottest competition for the title in years with former double champ Denise Sommers now back from injury, last year’s winner Suzy Stones, newcomers Jennifer Ross and Sherice Bashir as well as strong challenges from Denise Kyme, Liz Martin and Carolyn Toogood all making for an interesting line up.
Entrance for spectators throughout the week is free of charge. Weeknight matches begin from 6pm daily with weekend matches running from 10am-4pm.
Finals night is Saturday 20th February with matches starting from 5pm. Following the finals will be the ever popular Digicel Nationals After Party… an event not to be missed!
