The Bermuda Bicycle Association (BBA) recently held it's annual awards dinner to present prizes from the 2009 season and recognize several individuals for their year-long achievements.
BBA President Peter Dunne said, “Headlining the evening was former professional cyclist Magnus Bäckstedt who famously won the 2004 Parix-Roubaix race, known for its treacherous cobblestone sections along the 260K in northern France”.
Bäckstedt is also a stage winner of the Tour de France and several times the National Champion of his native Sweden.
